Sometimes you have a costume that requires a rather unique shade of lip color (I\u2019m looking at you JoJo\u2019s fandom) but finding lipsticks that are outside of the Red\/Pink\/Natural colored realm can be difficult. Finding affordable options can be REALLY difficult. Here is a database of everything I\u2019ve come across, and what types of weird colors are in the line. Go forth and be fabulous!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budget Beauty Options<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

for the sake of this listing, Budget Beauty\u00a0is anything that averages under\u00a0ten bucks.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colourpop
<\/a><\/strong>Average Price: $5.00
Colourpop is an online makeup brand that offers\u00a0a huge shade range. Their line will fluctuate and they do offer limited edition shades. They have traditional lipsticks in a variety of finishes (called lippie stix) as well as a line of matte liquid lipsticks.\u00a0Both lines have some unique colors such as a mint green, dark emerald, blues and a gunmetal metallic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NYX
<\/a><\/strong>Average Price: $6.00
NYX is a drugstore brand that offers several options for out there shades, but most of these strange colors are easiest to acquire directly from their website. Be sure to check out the Macaron line which features soft pastels and the Wicked line which features darker jewel tones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Color
<\/a><\/strong>Average Price: $3.00
City Color has a line of Matte\u2019s called \u201cBe Matte Gem\u201d that come in an amber brown, dark green, aqua, bright yellow, black and white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LA Girl

LA Girl has a dark grey, black and a navy blue in it\u2019s Matte Flat Velvet line. They also have a metallic bronzy gold in the Glazed Lip Paint collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are looking for a budget friendly option with the most diverse color offerings J.Cat Beauty is one of the top picks. Between the Pout-Holic line and the Wonder Lip Paint you can get a full rainbow of colors. Even their Fantabulous Lipstick line offers a metallic gold. You can find J.Cat on their website or Ulta\u2019s site. You can also sometimes find the brand carried at Beauty Supply stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hard Candy<\/a><\/strong>
Average Price: $5.00
Hard Candy is a drug store brand carried exclusively by Wal-Mart. They do not have much in the way of crazy colors, but their Fierce Effects lip glosses come in a sky blue and a bright orange. They also offer an electric Purple and Black in the Fierce Effect lipstick line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiss USA<\/strong><\/a>
Average Price: $3.50
Kiss is another brand that has a wide color range for under 5 bucks. The Ruby Kisses Matte line has several shades of purple (from lavender to dark), a couple of shades of blue, a mint green, and a light grey. The Lip Lacquer line has a bright yellow and blue shade. There is also a Matte Lip Lacquer line that offers two shades of blue, Yellow, Orange, Light Grey and Lavender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stargazer<\/a><\/strong>
Average Price:\u00a0\u00a33.50 ($5.40)
If you are in the UK or Europe, Stargazer is a UK brand that offers a lot of unique options. UV reactive lipsticks, glitter lipsticks and some truly one of a kind shades (a metallic aqua blue fit for a mermaid for example) are just some of their offerings. They do ship all over the globe though, so don\u2019t let the location stop you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloody Mary is a theatrical brand that offers some unique colors of lipstick. A couple of blue shades, an emerald green, a yellow, a black and a silver\/chrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kat Von D
<\/a><\/strong>Average Price: $20.00
Kat Von D is available at Sephora and is a high end brand. The Studded Lipstick line offers a green, a lavender, a \u201cshimmery navy,\u201d a black and a black with silver shimmer. The Everlasting Liquid Lipsitck line offers a bright orange, Navy and Black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manic Panic
<\/a><\/strong>Average Price: $15.00
Manic Panic\u2019s Lethal Lipsitck line will offer you a ton of crazy color options. This is one of the few places I\u2019ve come across that offers more than one shade of green. They also have several shades of blue, a few pearly whites, silvers, blacks, orange and purples. The Cross Gloss line offers a white, green, orange, purple and black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lime Crime<\/a>
<\/strong>Average Price: $17.00
Lime Crime has come under recent scrutiny for some things, but I still wanted to include them as they are a name that comes up with this topic. The Unicorn Lipsticks offer a few shades of blue\u00a0and\u00a0green, a yellow, lavender, black and orange. The Velvetines (their line of Matte liquids) come is a goldenrod, black and a few shades of purple. You can find a sparkly emerald green in the Carousel gloss line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeffree Star<\/a><\/strong>

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks are a Matte lipstick. You will find a couple of shades of blue, some very dark purples, lavender and a green\/grey color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
