Basically I made this whole costume so I could design the patch on the back of the jacket…
This costume is a healthy mix of altered pieces and made from scratch. The skirt was made using an altered commercial pattern and is all 4 way stretch vinyl.
For the main piece of the costume, the biker jacket, I designed and drew several patches in Adobe Illustrator and had them custom printed on cotton fabric. I used heat n bond to fuse them all to black felt and did a basic zig zag stitch for security in case the heat n bond started peeling. Then I hand tacked them to the vinyl jacket I purchased. I also applied hot pink studs to the jacket, which I managed to harvest out of some belts I bought at a thrift store. I used the same studs on the headband for the ears and the choker.
The ears are wired and attached to a headband. I used felt in between the fur to add some stability. The tail was simply stiched together and stuffed with polly fill. The choker was made out of the same vinyl as the skirt. It was wrapped around felt and topstitched. The bow and tails were hand painted with fabric paints.
The boot as simply some Harley Davidson biker boots (seriously a choice goodwill find, thanks cosplay karma!) that I made boot covers for out of the same pink vinyl I used in the skirt. I cut slits in the covers to feed the boots belt accents through. The help keep the boot covers in place, but allow access to the zipper to get them on and off.
